Oolite Bulletins

During my last Oolite addiction period about 4 years ago, I eventually hit on a great little ship. Shaped like a needle (tiny profile, very hard to hit), something like 8 missile slots, don't remember how much cargo, and fast & maneuverable. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Is it an OXP ship? If so, what's it's name and from which OXP?

[wiki]Eel Rapier[/wiki]? Ridiculously fast, definitely got the tiny profile. Not so many missile slots, though.

Yes that's it! Thanks! I must have been mistaking the missile slots with a Boa Class Cruiser or something. That Eel Rapier is a mighty fine bounty hunting / (& pirating ) vessel!

FYI a Boa Class Cruiser only has 5 missile slots. No core ships has over 7 missile slots (Anaconda).
It's why a missile-based strategy doesn't work too well against pirates...you run out of missiles too quick.

Plus missiles can be costly.....

Ew. That's not a pirate vessel I want to meet if I can somehow avoid it.
