Trading tips?

The next version of Trading Assistant will allow for a "tip of the day" feature, when it hasn't anything more useful to say, but adding that will depend on actually having a reasonably long list of tips. Would anyone care to share any trading tips that can be expressed in one sentence?

There are New Cargoes hints? Because it depends on BGS, CCL, Snoopers, etc., I've never tried New Cargoes. I don't know anything about it. Would its hints be of any relevance to "old cargoes"?

There are a few. Althought they usually refer to oxp stations.

Some generic tips that should apply to the core game:

Asteroid mining is thirsty work.

The market for Furs is volatile, even on Agricultural worlds.

There are old traders, and bold traders - but there are no old, bold traders.

There's good money in salvage - but remember how it got there.

The cops don't care what you bring in - it's what you take out that counts against you.

Don't forget the most basic one: Buy Rich Industrial, sell Poor Agricultural (and vice-versa!)

And another very basic one: Don't get ambushed by Thargoids! :P

And while I'm at it: If in doubt, inject out!

Must be a pommy prejudice. Lots of places in the world, if you found horse meat in your MuckDonalds you'd think it were a step up in quality.

For the rest of the world, there is a major scandal rocking Europe at the moment where products sold as Beef have been found to contain horsemeat (and also in some cases Pork). Officially it is being viewed as a case of fraud rather than a public health issue but obviously besides the fraud aspect this is touching on ethical and even religeous sensitivities as well.

However, the actual scandal is that the horse meat in question seems to be contaminated and not fit for human consumption in the first place.

Other than that, I'm visiting the local horse butcher quite often, not only for meat, but also for salami and smoked bacon. One very healthy difference to your average supermarket beef or pork is that horses are generally not mass-produced and mass-butchered factory style, and what you buy (and eat) does not consist roughly half of water and half of steroids and antibiotics.
