Hello there. I want to sign up to the http://wiki.alioth.net site (to post a few FFE based short-stories), and it said on the front page to send a Private Message to 'Maik', I clicked on the 'friend' option, but it says that I need to participate on the forum more before I can send a PM. Can anyone help me out? Cheers.

Hi Luther and welcome! Now that you've had your first post approved, try sending a PM to maik now.

Also, don't click on the 'friend' option, but on the 'pm' option on maik's user page.

And welcome to the boards, purportedly the friendliest this side of Riedquat.

Thanks guys. I'll send him the PM now.

In all my years I've never been to Riedquat. The closest I've been is via the safety of the old 'Winston and Gilmour Guide to the Galaxy'. I've done some gun-running and black marketeering in my time, but that place sounds way to choppy for an man like me. I mean, even the coffee from Riequat has a reputation for being pusillanimous!
