You don't know me, but that's fine , I guess for you things just work.. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Bozo Crumb, my Job is as a part of the maintenance teams on the Rock Hermit Michael s Shovel I. One of my allotted tasks is to change the light beams on the approach to the entrance,. Well I know we sell jools and precious metal dirt cheap. and the booze quiet rightly is very expensive.. Well I'm rubbish at changing light bulbs after a few . so the fact that I can't afford it is probably a good thing.

The pay , such as it is , in maintenance is not good , and yet I am putting some by to get me my first second hand Adder, but hey from little acorns... whatever.. I am digressing.

Often I can carry on with my work when Cobra's enter the Hermit to trade. This little moan is directed especially to the Python , Boa and Anaconda Pilots who for whatever reason try to shoe horn their craft into our little hermitage.

How can you possibly expect me to do my job when I am having to get out of the way to allow for you and your freighters to get in and out of the hermitage. I am on piece work here and at this rate I won't ever be able to get off this rock. So Freighter Pilots, I respectfully ask you to stop mucking my rota up, I finally clocked after yesterday at a quarter past 36 o clock and my shift is supposed to end at 27 o'clock.

Yours faithfully , One very stroppy Lobstoid.

Update...

Bozo Crumb here again.

As you will know I was previously a malcontent who's cheif role in life was to change the flourescent beams in Rock Hermit Launch bay's.

I scraped a little money together and have since managed book passage to the nearest Coriolis Station. I quickly gained employment as a Janitor sweeping out Cargo bays on commercial craft . The advantage of being a Lobstoid is the four extra Limbs (I stand on the other two) and the Pincers for litter picking. A good job with work being very regular. The Money on a par with changing Light Bulbs but better hours.

I'm still trying to save up for my first Adder, but get this.

Those chaps at Ironhide corps are in need of multi limbed citizens to quickly and efficiently apply the heat reflective polymer coating to those vessels purchasing Ironhide, and there's more. The Ironhide polymer is not guaranteed to remain at 100% and will need re coating, though this does not affect the lifetime guarantee, (I think that's based on the fact that once the Ironhide is completely depleted the Pilot is probably nearing the end of their own life anyway).

Anyhow, I am a much happier Lobstoid when last I wrote. I'll keep you updated as to when I finally can afford an Adder and get maybe a few g together for a ton of something or other.. and not I hope get deaded on my first jaunt.

I expect it's going to take me a while to report on my progress because of all the overtime (he said optimistically) I know not everyone can afford the Ironhide so I expect to be moonlighting as a janitor in my spare time. Anyway, Pincer's crossed. things are finally beginning look up.

A slight fly in the ointment is that I am widely advised that an Adder will ideally need some scoops at the very least and a half decent cannon before even attempting to launch.

Bozo crumb,
I hear ya and sympathize in you wanting an adder. be forewarned from a reptilian, the cockpits are desgned for those mammalians who go about on their hind ends. a lobstoid form just will not fit a primates' arse holder, nor will the controls that are designed for sweaty non clawed appendages, forget about using the loo... like me, you will spend a fortune on retrofitting you ship to your physical needs.. even mundane things like the galley or the lounge or even the hold manipulators... they just ain't going to fit. have you looked at some of the ships from the water worlds? at least, they are closer to form fit than mammals. In addition, a ship owned by a mammal has certain biological odors that you just might find unacceptable and they shed their hairy coats everywhere gumming up the filters and between the engine spaces. UGH!!! just a reptiles input... best of luck
