Porting to the PS Vita or PS3

Post by watford2007 »

I am a big fan of Oolite and would be great to play Oolite on the PS Vita. Has anyone looked into whether this is possible or feasable via Playstation Mobile or Minis or direct to PSN etc. The keys could be emulated via the rear touchpad etc.

Oolite is a great game and I think would fit nicely on the PS Vita with it's graphics capability.

Homebrew on the Vita is hard because the exploits to enable it are constantly being closed down by Sony - mainly because of the catastrophic failure they made with the PSP and how it lead to piracy. I wouldn't count on seeing Griff's Cobra 3 on the PS Vita anytime soon... :(

Now that the PS Vita is being discontinued (hardware wise) it seems a shame to put it away in a drawer without having the awesome Oolite on it. What a fantastic portable to play Oolite on. Can the clever powers that be that know how to code, please put an Oolite version on this great handheld.

I play Elite Dangerous but a portable version of Oolite on a portable console would be amazing.

Or a PSVR/Gear VR version would be good. :)
