Congrats! I did back it via Drew so my money is in the writers pledge. But now the Wiki section of Elite 4 needs an update . Because it's not vapourware anymore .

Just pledged £80 ... as I am going to buy the game, its online version, and its expansions anyways ... and now it'll become a reality for sure

I pledged at the £60 level some time ago and have been tempted to increase my pledge to £80 in order to get the add-ons however unless I am mistaken you don't get a physical copy of the game on this tier

Having said that I am more than happy now that this game is definitely going to be made so all in all a great day to be a fan of Elite

Having already funded Drew and Boz I can only fund ED to the tune of £20 (post Christmas too) - but I'll take the Digital Copy and be happy.

Yay! I posted to most places I know under the sun yesterday when the funding was confirmed and my heart was beating so fast that I could hardly relax to go to bed. But I slept a very peaceful night and woke up to confirm that the funding was still reality.

The £80 tier was added for the benefit of those who do not want to have a physical copy. The next tiers above give you the physical copy as well.

And, with the £80 tier you also get any future expansion added in - knowing online games, if Elite IV stays around for some years (and due to its uniqueness that is entirely possible), the £80 are a good deal, seen as money invested into the game over time.

Now the only thing left is to point the Elite Dangerous Community to that Wiki and the Pages would fill themselves up.

A question: Can I pledge even after the campaign? I'm now in a financial situation that I have to watch my spendings but maybe in the future it will get better and then I want the game.

As I've said. I've pledged via the writers pledge from Drew. In that case I don't get the game but I still get a nice story and I can see in which way the game develops ( also in term of system specs). Although it is also good news that the Mac stretch goal is near.

I think so, but I'm not 100%.

You can't pledge after the KS ends. Paypal donations are your only option then I believe.

The first stretch goal for a Mac version has been achieved.

The Mac version should be released three months after the PC version is released, so approximately June 2014.
