Gerry Anderson, the creator of Thunderbirds and Fireball XL5 has passed away aged 83.
Starting with Fireball, his TV shows were a major part of my Childhood, introduced me to 'SciFi' and shaped my impression of how 'The Future' should be.

Thunderbirds were quite popular in France too at that time.
Although I don't clearly remember all, I have some flashes in my head. It is so far in the past already.

RIP Gerry.

I remember many a Saturday morning watching various Anderson shows.
Always enjoyed Stingray, Thunderbirds and TerraHawks. Later on discovered UFO and others.
I'm probably in a minority if I say that I quite liked Space Precinct.

Oh, God! I'd forgotten about Space Precinct. I really don't remember much about it, but I seem to remember quite liking it as well.

Don't forget Twizzle and Footso!

Wow I had forgotten about Space Precinct too! It was so terrible it was brilliant. We will miss you and your legendary television programs...

Can never forget terror hawks. One of my favourite shows as a kid.
