[RELEASE]Boomerang

The Boomerang is just a plain, sturdy trading ship. It's horseshoe shape allows a great deal of cargo, and though it isn't as fast as many other ships, it's speed is compatable with the Cobra MkIII. With aft and forward beam lasers, and a respectable missile launching capability, it is far from helpless. Never-the-less, the NPC version of the Boomerang is escorted by the fast, and deadly Piranha. There is only one problem that I have yet to address with this ship, and that is the sensor dishes. They were meant to spin, but I couldn't pull that off in it's present positioning, so it will be a future upgrade.

Specs.:

Max Speed = 350
Max Energy = 350
Energy Recharge Rate = 3.5
Thrust = 25
Max Cargo = 80 tons
Max Missiles = 8

Thanks pagroove. Thanks also for the bits you unconsciously donated to the Mandotech Station. :)

Thanks, Shipbuilder. I knew how to make a dish rotate 360 degrees around the y axis, but that was using sensor mounting poles that went straight up. I've even achieved a circular spinning using the z axis, as on the Ardvark, but for some reason I couldn't seem to get the dish on the Boomerang to rotate to my satisfaction. I was thinking to release a different version with just the straight pole dish mount, but Zieman kind of took car of that little problem. :)
