E.S.M. Jammer

In the ZX Elite there was a mission to destroy the thargon station for the E.S.M. Jammer.
Is there such mission in the Oolite ?

ECM, not ESM old chap 
There's not that mission in trunk, however there is an OXP mission in which you may be able to gain and use such equipment...

I'm afraid neither the 'Cloaking device' (which was also introduced in the ZX Spectrum version of Elite) is available in the standard Oolite (could be in the OXP, but I would prefer it to be in the standard).

Nope, the item you mention is available in the vanilla Oolite.

I assumed it isn't because I couldn't find the item in the Equipment list:

So, I conclude not all misson-acquired-Equipment is on that list.

Main acronyms are as follows:
EW = Electronic Warfare
ESM = Electronic Support Measures
ECM = Electronic Counter Measures
ECCM = Electronic Counter Countermeasures
EPM = Electronic Protective Measures
And there are many many more within the Electronic Warfare Umbrella.
That little minuscule thing we have in Oolite will probably fit in as an Electronic Counter Measure, but that depends on how it works.

Well, by name it is ECM.
By function it is probably closer to an EAM (Electronic Attack Measure) or EPM.
Not important though.....
