Hello. I took the liberty of adding myself to the pinmap, even though my account is only minutes old.
The forum seems friendly enough to hang out often, so why not... I've heard talk that this is the nicest message board this side of Riedquat.

Welcome Thermonuklear!

You know, the folks on this forum also play/hack an awesome computer game. You should check it out some day.

Hi Thermonuklear, and welcome.
Yeah, we like to pride ourselves on the friendliness around here, and as has been mentioned the game is pretty good as well! :D

Ha, that's great to hear! And yes, the game is very enjoyable. Felt just like when I first played Elite in 1994... I was nine years old back then, didn't know a word of English, but still loved the game deeply. 3D graphics and all! On an Atari ST! Big stuff, I had mostly played Tapper on my ZX Spectrum before that. Oh the memories...[/ramble]

Well, pinned myself into what seems to be a fairly lonely East Anglia!

...mind you, I see that Griff would be right at home over here... ...baaaaaaaahhhhhh...

.. he would just need the outsize welly boots...
Very funny, Scotty, now beam down my clothes...

<chuckles> Excellent - I was afraid that no one else was going to pin themselves up, and that we made the thread a sticky for nothing :(. It should really be iterated that every board member is welcome (not required, of course) to pin themselves up on Ooliteers Planet :D.

Seems a neat enough idea - pinned myself now that I'm back from rambling the world.

Welcome back to the rambling one.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

The only things that live up trees round here are bloody grey squirrels! Noisy, antagonistic little bastards! I had a shouting match with one in the woods where I used to live - just because I nicked some of his hazel nuts!

I hope he wasn't one of your relatives?

We holidayed in the North of Scotland a few years ago - the Squirrels objected to the new forest cabins that had been built that we were staying in and so used to throw pine cones down at us from upon high...

Thanks mate, I might even make it so far as to download the latest sources sometime this weekend. First I have to make sure the bike is going though - going camping next weekend.
