This .oxp adds the Coluber CYR-30350 "Yellowbelly Racer" to the Ooniverse.

The Yellowbelly Racer is a armored multi purpose ship, a good choice for a lonewolf trader. It has less cargo capacity
than a cobra 3, but more energy and a slightly better energy recharge rate.

What else can I tell you about the Yellowbelly Racer? Well, I think the best description might be the ode "Space-Fever"
by Njoh Feesamild, the famous poet from Isinor:

"I must now out in space again, the lonely space and the endless sky,
And all I ask is a sturdy ship and a good working HUD to steer by,
And the joysticks kick and the energy banks song and the engines shaking,
And a grey mist of far away galaxies, and a pirate-ships hull breaking."

If you want to use the CYR-HUD, just edit the shipdata.plist
and delete the two slashes in front of the line "hud = cb68_cyr_hud.plist. Or just put the stand-alone-version of CYR-HUD into
your addons folder.

really great ship design & texture! It fits in perfectly with the Elite ships as if it was designed by Braben & Bell themselves!

Handles nicely, too.. I managed to pick up a red & yellow one with a NEU already fitted for 525,000. Traded my iron-ass Cobby for it, and had 160,000 left over to spend on kitting her out. So amongst other things, I installed 6 passenger berths and turned her into the sexiest Taxi in Gal1


Whereupon, I had rather an interesting time...

Beautyful! Installed and tested yesterday (with the Pitviper) I like it very much!
It will be my next ship. Now I just bough a Pitviper Beast... I thought it was the right ship to face "Victim 11"

I like the guide lines for the crosshairs and I think it was very innovative of you to use a line of text for the guage markings. Very 'outside-the-box' of you and well done!

I like the ship design as it fits with the original shipset very nicely.
