Oolite Bulletins

Hi guys/Gals,

I seem to have reached an impasse in my OOlite career, I`m looking for more OXP`s to give the game a more excitable, realistic edge but am unsure what to go for. Can you guys recommend any?

You could try some mission.
I just finished The Assassins Guild. It was quite challenging.

There is no such thing (or title) as "Enforcer" in Assassins OXP. What you're doing is Random Hits OXP. That is also evidenced by your OXP list, which notably does not contain Assassins OXP. Which, I guess, is the reason why Tichy recommended it to you in the first place.

What galaxy are you currently in? Have you considered consulting the [wiki]Oolite Missions[/wiki] page in order to find, install, and play a mission that takes place in your current galaxy?

ah sorry, thought it was the assasins one. I`m currently in Galaxy 3.

Had you considered my ToughGuys OXP? I think you'll find using the EveryDayMayhem level will give you all the excitement you'll ever need

I'd recommend (in order of impact on gameplay):

[wiki]Randomshipnames OXP[/wiki] - gives ships random names. While away the hours checking out who's called what. (I saw a good one earlier today: a merchant Cobra III called "Pip's Apple". If your name is "Pip", what else are you going to call your ship?)
[wiki]Escort Formations[/wiki] - adds new escort formations. It's a subtle change, and can spice up your tactics.
[wiki]New Cargoes[/wiki] - trade in specialist goods across (mostly) long distances. Learn what sells where, where to get it from, and whether or not you need a permit ...
[wiki]ToughGuys[/wiki] - beefier, better-armed pirates, basically. Rediscover the joys of running away! (Ninja'd by Smivs! But I recommend it too.)

+1 to ToughGuys. And if you want more challenge, drop ironhide, repairpots, shieldequalizer and sniperlock .

Chilly - Good to see that you have the Serpent Class Cruiser OXP installed.

CommonSenseOTB's Custom Shields OXP also adds another degree of realism.
