Oolite Bulletins

Anyone heard about this project? It's a sandbox space simulator from Mr Minecraft, Markus Persson. It's still very much in the making but I feel a faint frisson of excitement ... the ambition is to make "a sandbox space trading game that crosses Elite with Firefly".

Yep.. I must admit I have a little difficulty envisioning a computer that can successfully run for 281,474,976,710,656 years, before thawing people out, though..

Never mind the Y2K bug - you've got to get around the Y200T bug. (trillion)

This game looks very promising. Hopefully Notch makes an attempt to optimize his code this time around... Thinking his earlier resource hog of a game(Minecraft), I feel a bit worried.

I have heard of this as well and it looks interesting. However, might I be presumptuous and recommend that some of you might also want to look at a game with a similar goal called Scrumbleship? I don't want to drag you off topic, but since they are both voxel\psuedo voxel space games, I thought it might be relevant enough.

p.s. It keeps telling me when I reply to stuff that the form is invalid and to resubmit. I do so and it works, is there anything I should do? Or should I just keep resubmitting and ignore it.
