My current OXP project includes a ship which uses sub-ents, but these need to be absent when the ship docks. To avoid unwanted maintenance overhauls i am adding them back when docking and removing them on launch. If I remove them during shipLaunchedFromStation all is well, but if they are removed using shipWillLaunchFromStation I get a weird effect - the tunnel effect flies off the top of the screen and the ship appears to launch from below the docking port. Commander McLane is helping me with this project and it seems on his computer shipWillLaunchFromStation works fine with no odd effects.
I'm on a Linux PC (Ubuntu with nVidia GTX550ti graphics card) and McLane I believe uses a Mac. Is this possibly a hardware or OS issue?
