V1.76.1

I installed 76.1 and it works great.
Though the NPC ships seem to be a lot faster, some of them are even out running me when I'm using injectors.
This has never happened before.
I fly a caddy omega and I tweaked the top speed up a bit years ago.
Just wondering if this is an intentional change?

I don't think they are faster, but recently their evasive tactics have been improved quite a lot. :)

I've often been outrun by pirates while using injectors, but then again I'm flying a Boa. :) Do pirates use injectors? I know Asp, Fer de Lance, Igana to name few that can outrun a Cobra MKIII with fuel injectors. :wink:

NPCs (including pirates) can have all the same equipment as the player, providing their ship can be fitted with it. The core game gives them such equipment based on a 'chance' set in the shipdata.plist, so some will be basic, some will have some equipment and some migh rarely get quite a lot of kit. OXPs such as my ToughGuys add more extra equipment, and also do things like give them the equivalent of energy units etc as well.

Nice one, I'll give this a try when I'm flying something a little more combat worthy. :P
