Trader-Hunter routes

I figured I'd start a discussion about some favored routes for those that like a bit of excitement to go with their cargo runs. I just recently discovered a Poor Agricultural/Rich Industrial run with an Anarchy and a Multi-Gov at Ususor-Gerete, with only 2.0 LY's distance, great for a high-mass cruiser with a good bit of cargo hold.

Sounds interesting...I'm currently trading between Xexedi and Laenin, they are only 0.8 light years apart. Xexedi is a Confederecy but does get a lot of pirate activity and is also a tech 14 rich industrial, so I can get all the equipment I might need there.

I'm considering taking the jump to G2; anyone out there with route suggestions? Hostile routes are actually a plus, but I wouldn't complain about safe ones either.

Onenti-Ansoreat perhaps?
Or if you plan to make most of your money on the hunting/salvage side than the trading side, the corridor between Qucedi and Lerela has plenty of pirates. Definite public service if you could keep the spacelanes safe there.
The
Kobs Ladder region has a nice mix of safe and dangerous systems and economies.

Are those systems in G2?

Yes.
The planet lists on the wiki have all the information, and the PDF vector maps are good for both an overview and a closer look at a particular region.

Apart from being cool charts, they also have some pre-plotted
trade routes marked.

If I had just looked at the maps, I wouldn't have heard that bit about the Qucedi-Lerela corridor. Advice from the salt of the skies is much better than maps and preplotted routes. You get a feel for why they work, why they might not, where all the good huntin spots are...

Ah well... you never know quite where they'll be found. I've seen some of the best action in high TL, supposedly
civilised systems. Estiri in G7 for example... it often has more
action than the two nearby feudal systems (the Maraus hub is the
sweet-spot in G7).

Thanks cim, I hadn't checked the wiki for a while.

You mean, not since 2006 (when the planet lists were put on it)?

I only usually look at the OXPs, haven't looked at the map for a while.
