Taking a look at this video from the opening night of Broadway's "Harvey", I was surprised when, at about 0:56, John Hodgman said he would change the rabbit from the play for a spinning cobra! Perhaps you misheard and he was talking about a [wp]spitting cobra[/wp].

Oh, yes, I just watched it again. You are right, he said "spitting cobra".
