It's full of stars!

Greetings, Commanders!
Stumbled upon Elite Plus the other day, one thing (link) led to another and I discovered Oolite... oh my... I've been playing the original Elite on the C-64 and Amiga all those years ago and when I first ran Oolite and launched from Lave station... wow! It sure brought back some fond memories... A few days and more than a few OXPs later, I am awed, truly amazed at what I am seeing zooming through the Ooniverse.
Even after all these years, controlling my trusty old (new!) Cobby seems easy, it is as if my fingers still remember what to do, all on their own. Docking computers? Who needs 'em!? Pirates? Ha, dispatched two dozens or so to the blue yonder... been from one corner of the Galaxy to the other, transporting a few shady characters... had my first mis-jump smack into the middle of a curiously stationary Thargoid fleet... tried my hand at escorting a few nervous Boa Captains to their destinations - they are a jumpy bunch! - landed on my first planet... often, I would launch from some station and thrust around the system, simply enjoying the view...
Need to go... a fat contract awaits... but before I go, a big "Thank you!" to Giles Williams and to all developers of Oolite! Thank you for the Ooniverse. Feels like I never left...
