Non-progress and retirement

As I have once again found myself incapable of working on Oolite, even though I want to in the abstract, I have now retired completely and permanently from major feature development. Hopefully this will make it easier for me both to work on support and maintenance and to do unrelated stuff.
Since the new shader synthesizer doesn’t implement all the features of the old system, it has been disabled.

What can I say?
Thanks for everything you have done for us, and enjoy your retirement.
I hope we will still enjoy your wit and wisdom here on the Board.

Indeed, you've totally earned you're retirement Ahruman! Thanks so much for all the stuff you've created for Oolite, i don't think the thrill of making some half assed frankenstein abomination out of your neat shader examples and then see Oolite make sense of it all on screen is ever going to wear off
um, not sure if that makes you proud of the things you've created here or if you're now just facepalming whilst staring at a calendar at the years you've spent on this project lol

As I'm sure others will say, THANK YOU for all the hard work you've done and the amazing things that you've accomplished with Oolite since slipping on Giles' shoes.
All the best and don't be a stranger.

Absolutely! Many, many, huge, stupendous, gargantuan thanks for everything. Now maybe, once in a while, you can find time to play the game and find out why we all appreciate what you've done!

Many many many thanks Ahruman!
You've left some mighty big shoes to fill.
Enjoy your retirement, you've more than earned it.

What he said. Without the man tears.
Thank-you.
Edit - I'm sure you won't be forgotten, but I see you've left a permanent mark just in case...

Yep - you've absolutely earned it. I guess there's not much code you haven't touched in the last years and Oolite wouldn't be what it is without you and your time, energy and wisdom. And take care.

Thank you for your hard work to give us a great game.
Sad to see you pull back, but on the positive side, we have a great game that is still being maintained and refined.
