In the spirit of a similar thread on another forum, and the hope that this one will be similarly informative - or at least, similarly amusing.
My lesson for today was:
Some stars are sufficiently small and cool that it's entirely possible to crash into them before filling your tanks or overheating

(In similar fatal-collision-related lesson news, Star Jelly larvae are small, pretty, translucent, and hard. Hard like a planet.)

They are actually very soft
but like the fully grown ones thay are 99% Quirium and have a tendency to sort of explode if you touch one.
The eggs are the ones to watch out for because they are tiny and therefore all but imposible to see, but are also mostly quirium...

(I have no idea what forum you are referring to, but I'll join in.)
A lesson I learned some time ago was:
You cannot run away from a Q-Bomb that you launched when you already had your injectors on.

You could try to turn around.
The principal problem is the split second it takes to realise what you've done. That leaves no time for prayer, let alone escape.

That's true. There's certainly not enough time for
both.
Still, if it's only a split second, you got a (small) chance. The bomb has five seconds before going off.
