Very cool oxp indeed, installed it once, but it changed my pet trumble into a jellybaby!

My pet trumble, alas, has to stay.

Normal service is resumed... apologies for the derailment ioannis, but something very cool may have developed from your thread.

Has someone already reflected on the gameplay balancing issues of taxing the consumption of jellybabies?

Smivs would be flat broke in 30 seconds. I would probably last a minute.

Interesting twist from taxes to jellybabies and jellybaby taxes. I believe the issue of jellybaby tax collectors (with turrets) has not been covered yet.

How about a converted railgun that shoots jellybaby projectiles?
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

I think converted railguns that shoot jellybaby projectiles should draw heavy taxation from galcop!

I used to work with someone who used to work in the Irish tax office. She told me that the Irish Inland Revenue had an unofficial "flash car" policy. Anyone who bought a car that was on a short list of "flash" motors – BMWs, Porsches, Ferraris, etc. – was audited, on he pure gut instinct that people who drove such vehicles probably fiddled their taxes. Although wholly unscientific, it did, apparently, have a 90% success rate at catching tax dodgers.

Perhaps a similar tactic could be used in Oolite? Anyone who buys an übership gets lined up for an audit … and Giles help them if they didn't keep the receipt! :D
