[RELEASES] Z GrOovy Spaceways online - Downloads available

Hello everybody,

Back on the board, and ready to release some things I had been working on for a while Some were left in the drawer, but others are up for grabs. Maik also gave me a login for the wiki, so will post my stuff there like everyone else. Good to be back and before anyone asks... The Carrier has NOT been scrapped. So Thagoid's landing script does its job, but I need some time to squash out the ahem...bugs.

Anyways. Here's a new site for you guys, where I have put up some new things for download. I credited other work as good as I could, don't shoot me if I forgot some of you it was not intentional.

Here are some new mods for you to try out:

Welcome back Dertien, you've been sorely missed. I'd already made a taxi replacement, and various other replacements from your previous releases for my own selfish personal use, but these new additions are most welcome. Can't wait to try them. :wink:

My bad, found it. Didn't have transports.oxp. :oops:
I removed the dependencies on that oxp altogether as i don't use coachwhip, liners etc. :wink:

Hi there I loved your stations with the els but I had to remove the folder and use the non els due to performance issues.

Awesome screen shot do the constores offer escort missions like in captain Murphy's escort contracts ? That would really be cool..?

Any chance of for us low performance players to enjoy these transports and if they got hit by pirates free loot.

Would be as simple as just taking an original ship and pasting a constore decal on it I imagine?
Simple shaders is what I'm limited to at the moment

Thank you bro, good to be back and doing something creative for a change. RL last year has been a crapshoot and a mess.

@MEGALODON:

Glad you liked the stations: I know there are some issues with the no shader versions of my creations, however Capt. Murphy has volunteered to look into my textures and see what can be done for everyone to enjoy my work (not just the people with simple and full shaders) I am blessed with a new ASUS 17 inch laptop with a Geforce 2 GIG Gpu. I understand that not everyone has those specs, so I will keep you informed on the board, if Capt Murphy cracks the code.

At the moment the constores don't offer the escort missions no, but the regular stations do. It is an exact copy of Capt Murphy's script with a few cosmetic changes in the text and new ships. Not sure if you can run both oxp's at the same time though, haven't tested that. Haven't tested the original script by Capt Murphy either, so if the independent miners get hit by pirates, so will the adapted constore escort conracts oxp as well.

Hi dertien,

nice web site! I'm just wondering how to put your new creations up on the [wiki]OXP List[/wiki]. Normally, I would either link to a wiki page or the discussion on the BB. In your case, I could link to the OXP's download page on your site, but then the BB discussion would be decoupled. It would be really great if you could open at least a BB thread per OXP and keep the first post updated with revision history and then a link to your site. That would give people a venue to discuss individual OXPs easily and you don't have to hunt around for comments. Or, even better, put the contents on the wiki. Selezen is able to setup a user for you on the Elite Wiki, should you want one.

Hi sorry to unearth this old thread but someone just pointed me to it referencing that you'd made some brilliant retextures of the Taxi Galactica stations. Amazing! Sorry I didn't realise this before, or I would have already asked this question, but I'm sure that you wouldn't object to me incorporating these models/textures into the current version of Taxi Galactica would you? As I said I would have done so already if I had known of their existance! :mrgreen:

Hi,
I just noticed that all of your OXPs seem to require Griff's Core shipset Replacement OXP. Is there any way they could be made to work with the Addition OXP instead?

I would suggest that they are updated to work with Griff_Shipset_Resources independently of the replace or the addition versions. Would ensure that they work with both versions and probably make them more future proof.
