Oolite Bulletins

I found two strange links on the [wiki]Griff Industries[/wiki] page.
The Dodo Stations OXP by Griff and CaptKev and Griff's Explosion Debris OXP both linked to www.boxcn.com/shared/xxxxx. Note the boxcn part. This brings you to a rather dubious page in Chinese. Removing the letters "cn" restored the link, but I wonder how the links got there in the first place. Nothing found in history.

A while back, Box seemed to have some problems, and boxcn.net is a mirror site that helped.
Now Box have changed from .net to .com, the cn part of the suffix is wrong (boxcn.net still works, btw).
The cn bits need removing now! Summon a Wiki Wizard!

That explains it. I fixed the two I found on Griff's page. No idea how to do a search and replace on the Wiki though.

I had no idea that links on the wiki had been changed... the cn bit was useful to add if you had download problems, but was only temporary.

Finding should be easy with the search option provided on each page. At least I did a search for all 'box.net' entries shortly after they switched to .com and replaced most of them. (Only not thargoids stuff as I knew he has write permissions himself )

Just tried an ordinary Wiki search and found one more on the Save Anywhere page. Seem that an ordinary search will do the trick.

Yeah when box.net changed to box.com, I searched for and changed all the links from box.net to box.com. Seems I forgot to search for boxcn.net too.

There's 10 boxcn.net links I've found so far that I'll edit. There's also about 95 box.net links which I won't edit as they work. There's a handful of broken box.com links, some of which look like typos.

I'll plod my way through fixing these through the rest of today.

All of mine should already have been switched over just after Box did their change. If there are any that remain on my pages then they're just oversights on my part - either let me know or just change them.

Would I be right in thinking that user Winston is responsible for *.aloith.net ? For example, for the following:

None of these work (they return "Problem loading page" after a few minutes) but they are referred to in a few dozen wiki links.

My contribution to Oolite today has been 12 hours of editing wiki pages. I have pwned the "Recent changes" page.

There are now no references to boxcn.* anywhere on the Wiki.
