Panic not - he asked and was given permission according to Griff himself.

We appreciate the eagle eyed members of the board looking out for such potential thievery though! (as happened to Drew's books last year!)

See this thread, JH.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Thanks for the link. What happened in the end? Edit: just seen this.

I just searched Amazon for "Peter Michelsen", there still are books with that name as author, but thankfully not Drew's.

I saw that Drew's Torn is for sale on Amazon though... :)

Gibbon's been working on some really great looking mods for freelancer using some of the models from my shipset (which he's been painstakingly reworking to the freelancer format), he's been keeping me updated with some neat youtube vids of his work, i hope he doesn't mind me posting the links to some of his work:-

Love this video especially the view looking back out of the docking bay towards the planet about 1 min. in - has a lovely 'foggy' to it - not sure about gibbon's docking skills, i assume he's demonstrating collision detection because he manages to scrape nearly every surface, worse than me trying to park my car at kwik-save

I love the sense of scale in that vid, and always kind of liked Freelancer's graphics. I've got a copy of Freelancer lurking at the bottom of my hard-drive unplayed for a couple of years - it may need to be dusted off at some point (with Gibbon's mod).
