Oolite Bulletins

I have just got back to a WIP I have been distracted away from and wanted to learn how to create a missiontext.plist file in openstep. So I went to http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Missiontext.plist hoping for some guidance and found next to nothing in the structure and layout sections. I had to open an existing OXP and just copy that.

If a few boffins wasn't around in the chat room (PhantorGorth, El Viejo, Okti, Smivs) I would have had no chance to produce a working file. Is there any chance of creating something that would be of use to someone who is likely to turn to it for reference.

I am now going on to the main.js I hope to find enough info about that.

But complaining aside I thank who is responsible for posting what there is as I have learned a few things from it.

That is a very good idea.
Would you like it to be posted here so other people can contribute? I will start putting a few things together once I have completed the WIP as there is a few other things still to go into my missiontext.plist so it is not complete. But it is working nicely so far. And I still have a few more lessons regarding them.

But saying that I will keep a note as I go along so as to have a problem solving section as well.

Sure. Just let me know which pieces need to go where.

I read the Constrictor mission .js files and mission text from the core game to see how it was done.
