Monitor Query

Quick question, while trying to get to sleep the other night i was day/night dreaming about playing Oolite in an arcade style cabinet ( i know, i know...)
The thought struck me, is it possible/programmable to have two lateral (port and starboard) monitors to compliment the front view, and running simultaneously?
This has probably been mooted before, but how class would that be1?

I remember somebody once managing to pull that off, but for the love of mike I'm at a loss as to how it was done. :?

I play Oolite on a great big Visio HD screen, which happens to have a handy PC video input and to die for resolution.

DaddyHoggy is the man to speak to. Look here. I understand that Oolite copes with three screens by cheating and "letterboxing" the screen (to quote Ahruman). Thus width is correct, but top and bottom is actually cut off if I understand this correctly. But it is possible.

I ran Oolite through a Matrox Triple Head to Go (TH2G) hooked up to an i7-920 PC, running a 1GB GTX285 - Oolite didn't mind the 3840x1024 pixels screen - but it was still only a single view - so the basic answer is "no" - When I showed Ahruman my four 52" screen flight simulator - he did say that if I gave it to him he would seriously consider implementing a multi-view system into Oolite - but seriously - I think this was said in jest. (By the way - I teach Modelling and Simulation for Cranfield University - these are not my own toys!)

Yup.

I think there is somebody on the forum who has nine screens (3x3) three TH2Gs connected to a gfx card with three DP outputs (converted to DVI).
