Indeed NOT.

But maybe the thumbnail is too small... here's me in a larger size, with 3 fully visible legs and a partially concealed 4th one:

More images of our brethren (97 it seems) can be seen at http://arthistory.cc. Can't give you the specific in-site link 'cause they force you to go thru some javascript clicks to get there - namely Artists on first page, then into a crooked alphabetic listing where Dragons is listed as an artist's name :?: ...

For old-time fans of Vallejo, Frazeetta and fellows, the site is a must-see.

You just beat me to it Sir. :?

Faster on the trigger while I got busy searching for ammo (and actually missed your post before placing mine)...

So I suspect you'll also have some fun with the link I posted above, that is - if you're not already aware of it. :P

More dragons than you can shake a scale at:

Wallbase has tons of dragon wallpapers.
Herpy.net has lots of draggy pics. WARNING: A lot is NSFW.

Three winged reptiles surreptitiously hijacked a forum thread, apparently started by a certain Commander Xairon.

Said Commander has since been reported missing, and despite all of our efforts he could not be reached for further comments.

Witnesses who requested that their names be not disclosed told our reporters that other passers-by, with apparently nothing better to do, joined the initial hijackers and reportedly had a lot of fun discussing reptilian matters.

From what little evidence we could gather, it would appear that the initial objective of Cmd. Xairon, which ended up totally misrepresented by the unabashed hijackers, was somewhat related to some inquiry about the opposing sex, and seemingly not related at all with reptilian races.

We'll keep you posted as soon as more reliable info can be scooped.

Three winged reptiles? :peers at himself:

Better make that two. Just as well, wings are rather pointless in a vacuum, and tend to get in the way in the cramped quarters of a spacecraft. Ask any avian.

Well, let's see... {too lazy today for this impersonating stuff} {...prolly getting too old for prolonged cosplay...} {...yawns...}

[... blah blah blah ...] Striving to always bring updated and corrected information to our readers, we stand corrected over one of our statements above.

It has been brought to our attention that at least one of the elusive reptiles does not in fact deserve the *winged* qualification that we had generically attributed to all of the three gang members.

As it stands out, one of the vandals, despite being generally known by the flying-creature nickname of 'Wyvern', actually belongs to an yet unspecified earth-bound, wingless lizard variety. However, no good reason was suggested as to why it would be so.

According to our undisclosed sources, the abovementioned hijack operation might be nearing its outcome soon.
Now let's see... what serious stuff can I do today around this board ?

{stricken by sudden remembrance} Oh yes, there's a protracted OXP ripoff process waiting to be finished. Really. :?

Yes, "girls" play Oolite. One of the great things about Oolite is that it is not *just* a shoot 'em up game. . . Yes, there is skill involved, and you may have to defend yourself in the spacelanes, but that is not *all* there is to the game.

Yup. Tis not a 'Shoot them up' game.

Although I don't personally know any girls/woman that got/get into Oolite or Elite to the extent that they miss lunch then dinner and fav TV shows, just so they can dock..

And hear "What are you doing??"

"Docking" is so such the wrong answer.

:D   :D

Well, even in shooter games there are some female players. Some of them can be astoundingly lethal, and certainly not people to underestimate. LOL

Definitely agreed, however, that Oolite is not "just a shooter" game. But it would be very interesting someday to see what it could be like if even half of the attention and effort that has gone into the combat related functions was expended on the economic and cultural possibilities.

Yep, you've got that right! I was into jujitsu in my youth, and the girls we trained with were dangerous! Never underestimate the female of the species when it comes to warrior spirit!
