(WIP)ExternalMissilesHUD

The hud system for external missiles and the equipment for external missile pods is now fully functional and simply awaits the specific scripting needed for this concept to work. I will attempt this scripting in my spare time as a side project and will keep you all updated as to any progress made. When this is accomplished all that will be left to do will be to connect it up with the proper models and subentities of a player ship. Here are some pics of the ExternalMissilesHUD.

One thing I could really use is 4 missile icons each representing 1 of the 4 external missile pylons/pods when they are empty. Would work well to have 1 icon with numbers 1-4 in the icon to represent which pylon it stands for. Current empty missile pylons use an outline of a missile. Perhaps an appropriate icon would be a missile outline inside a launch tube and with a small number on it. I have no experience making missile icons but when the scripting is done I will give it a shot. If someone has a vision of what they should look like and has the time and talent to come up with something that would be a good standard for all ships with external pylons to use then your contribution would be most welcome. Absolutely no hurry though on this. Cheers!
