How to start a new religion?

The comments (mostly about anti-vaccinations and some of the games creators mentioned in the article and not the content of the article at all) are rather telling...

This says it all, pretty much.
Chain World sounds like a great idea, although inevitably doomed to veer away from the founder's original intentions the instant it left his hand ... great article, though!

You guys assume he's telling the truth and that this is not a hoax. As far as I'm concerned there is nothing on that stick until I see a screen shot or it is available for download. Perhaps everyone that buys the stick will not say anything so they can attempt to get their money back from the next sucker. And so on.....

So how long is it before we start seeing statues depicting Rohrer nailed to a memory stick then?
Interestingly, I've just sat for about 5 minutes wondering what to type in this comment, and each statement I thought of was one that was equally applicable to religion.
I agree with DH - Mr Rohrer has indeed achieved his goal admirably.
