What's your combat rating?

Just curious. I'm referring to Oolite here, not Elite or other Elite-like games.
My best Commander is currently Deadly (3517 kills). It's a long haul from Deadly to Elite...

I'm currently Dangerous on GBA Elite, but have been Elite twice...
I'll be wiping my GBA cart soon though, cos I just got hold of GBA Elite-A!!

This dumb fool here was updating his oolite to 1.57 and deleted his save by mistake...
Will now have to start all over again...

GBA Elite?
What do you mean by that...
You cannot mean for the Game boy advance...

Competent. I don’t actually play much, and I’ve restarted once or twice.
Hmm, the metadata importer I’m working on really ought to index combat rating and list it in More Info.

Okay, we have some Elites. Not willing to identify yourselves?

That is *impressive*.
Would you like to commit the changes to the project yourself? I'm pretty sure your pw still works.

... Actually it's not mine
I'm still dangerous.

I dunno if this makes me ...erm... obsessed, but I made Elite on the PC version (FAR too easy, I'm sure it was vastly less than 6000 kills - this is the old DOS version circa 1989 or so). Oh, and that version showed a splash screen with a dude in a space suit and other things when you made Elite.
I also made Elite in FFE (which required 6K kills). That was a commander that went from 1995 (when the game came out) and made Elite around 2001 or so. Unfortunately, he died in a disk crash (although a clone of him rated Deadly exists).
I'm approaching Deadly in Oolite. Play testing helps those kills
Other versions: Dangerous in BBC Elite. Deadly in ZX Spectrum Elite.
At least I can admit those facts here!

8056 kills, and 1,015,342.3 Cr in the bank.
Admittedly, I have been "working from home" a lot...

Pshaw… all the impressive bits were done by some fruit company. Anyway, done. Note: new build phase in project file.

Well I've still not played Oolite yet - being a very low tech pc fiddler (don't let me near your pc) I'm waiting for an idiots guide to run a bug free (ish) version on a windows pc.
However, got to deadly on an Amstrad 6128 then the disc drive died. But have made Elite twice on TNK - (fairly easy)
and also a couple of times on xElite which I think is based on Arcelite and takes 9801 kills.
If you have achieved the Elite rating then you can get listed on Hooplahs "Order of Elite"
http://hooplah.com/encounters/order.htm
Some well known names there!
Also check out the ships page, probably
the definitive ship design artwork!

Hrm. I'm still listed under "United States" at the moment. Prolly need to request a switch to my current locale. (If that is allowed. I did make Elite in FFE in the United States).
