Not got the exhausts in the right place yet is it possible to have shapes other than circular?
Would post a picture but the board will not let me add it.

Re: exhaust ports - non-circular = no.

Re: picture - max picture 1000x800 pixels I think, other than that I don't know why you can't include one (unless... you are hosting the picture elsewhere (photobucket etc) and linking to it inside tabs yes?)

Now that is a quick response!

I assume The X and Y sizes will give the possibility of an oval shape, but just to be a pain I would like to
put an oval shape at an angle to the x,y axes.

As to the picture - there did not seem to be anyway to just include a jpg without hosting it somewhere.

Thanks anyway.

Right giving that a go.

Here is an image from Wings3d in the game it is almost invisible. I have put navigation lights on it to make it possible to see.

That app seems to work a treat. Cheers

Nice one Ironfist for what looks like an excellent ship. Size? Stats? Role? Tell me more...

Nice one Capt. Murphy - that's a nice quick site - for those times when I don't necessarily want to put something into my photobucket album, just to put it up here...

Called: Draven
Size 79 x 37.3 x 128.5 - so no too big
Lots of engine they are located in the outer pods so speed of 0.38
Think with the size a load of 150 tons maybe 125
lasers on all four sides
roles probably Trader not sure what else.

Have currently used XML for shipdata.plist is this what is recommended?

Looking good Ironfist. XML is OK, but openstep is generally preferred these days.

Thanks for that.
Gives me a chance to rewrite it in Openstep to learn the syntax.
Then it is going to be a crack at some scripting.

I think you'll find openstep much easier than XML, both to write and read.
It's very straightforward. Ask here if you need any help.

Called: Draven
Nice name!
Coincidentally I know a CGI modeller that goes by that name:
http://www.studio-draven.com/Gallery/2009/2009.html
I've been trying to get him into Oolite for a while now if I can just get him hooked he could do some great ships too.

Given it's fast and a big hauler - what's its downside? Low manoeuvrability? Lots of energy but low recharge rate? Can't take certain equipments?
