Your Oolite Identity

I've noticed that everyone here has a really complex Oolite personality, and I'm curious to learn more. So, I propose that everyone post a little profile for their commander here, just for fun.
Anyway, who knows? Some of this may carry over into someone's story or OXP. :3
Mine is below. Feel free to use it as a template. (Ironically, my commander profile is actually a good bit different from my real-life personality.)
--
Name: Lukas "Dragonfire" Criitu
Species: Blue Furry Rodent
Home System: Zaonce, Gal 1
Rating: Dangerous
Record: Clean
Credits: Undisclosed (He often travels with less than a hundred thousand credits on hand, though he is rumored to have more).
Career: Bounty Hunter, High-Ticket Commodity Trader
Ship: Red Wyvern - "The Fafnir"
Profile: Commander Criitu is an infamous (and despised by pirates) bounty hunter by name, though rarely recognized by face. Occasionally travels with a dragon named Spitfire on board.
Criitu is a lone wolf, though he occasionally springs for hired guns for the larger battles. Usually, however, he carries a set of captured thargons and a couple of drones, filling the rest of his pylons with all manner of fearsome missiles and torpedoes. All the same, between his plasma turrets and mil lasers, the pylons rarely get much use. (He's been known to refer to Thargoids as "bags of cash on the side of the space lane".)
When not hunting, Criitu is known to trade in high-ticket items - furs, precious metals and gems, and computers. He frequents rock hermits and asteroid fields, often mining asteroids to pass the time.
In real life, Criitu is something of an enigma, often withdrawn and secretive. He considers very few commanders to be friends. There are rumors that Criitu moonlights as a chatty barkeeper somewhere in Galaxy 1, though the claims have never been confirmed.

For what its worth, I dont have an alter ego. I play as me, pretty much doing what I would do if I really were a cobra pilot. There are small differences, for example in reality I would abuse any price discrepancies to make loads of money. In oolite I fix them

I keep wondering how you got to where you are. How much cash do you have, and how did you get it?

Well, I have a couple of identities, one for my forum identity (If there were a way of changing my display name to just Chaz or Chaz GELF I'd do it but I'll stick with it now) and one for the pilot I've been using a lot.
Name: CF-172, prefers to be called "Chaz"
Species:
VALHALLA-Prototype GELF (Genetically Engineered Life Form)
Home System: Unknown, created at an AndroGenus Genetics Station somewhere in deep space
Rating: Harmless
Record: Clean
Credits: 250,000 in an account he doesn't even realise he has yet, 2500 on hand
Career: Bartender at the Intergalactic Truckstop (A small but frequently-visited refueling stop between two major systems)
Ship: None of his own yet, though he occasionally borrows the truckstop's Adder (With cargohold expansion) when he's asked to restock the Truckstop's supplies.
Profile: Originally designed as part of a project to create an invincible, immortal supersoldier, Chaz was one of a batch of four prototypes for the so-called VALHALLA project. He was deemed a failure, for being too cowardly, and later fled the station with the help of the other three GELFs in the batch, so they could live normal lives (Well, as normal as possible for five foot tall fuzzy things that have no mouths or noses).
After crash-landing his escape craft on a swamp planet and subsequently being rescued by some employees from the Truckstop orbiting that planet, Chaz inadvertently landed a job as the barkeep there. Nowadays he just serves drinks at the truckstop, and occasionally has to put up with some rough and rowdy customers.
------------------
So that's me, here's the pilot I usually play as on Oolite (Based on a character who recently appeared in my comic)!
------------------
Name: Adam Polzin
Species:
Inquisi (Datamoon variant)
Home System: The Inquisor Datamoon
Rating: Poor
Record: Clean (Has gained Offender status at least once for running narcotics, but paid off his fines.)
Credits: About 27,000 on hand at the moment
Career: Trader, drug runner, taxi driver, all-round freelancer and hoodlum
Ship: Cobra Mk III (Heavily modified)
Profile: Hailing from the Datamoon (A massive database array constructed on an arctic moon) orbiting the planet Inquisor, not much is known about Polzin yet, except that his work schedule and ethic can be quite unpredictable (As noted above, he has gone from drugs running to taxi work pretty much on a whim). He stopped by the Truckstop at one point, though!

by Mauiby de Fug
Name: Mauiby de Fug
Species: Squirrel
Ship: Caduceus Omega, Taliesin
Rating: Deadly, although fast approaching Elite
Legal Record: Generally Clean
Credits: usually between 500000 and 600000 Cr
Profile: Originally hailing from the troubled world of Riedquat in the Santaari galaxy, Commander Mauiby de Fug is proof that not all of its inhabitants deserve to be called "Harmless Rodents".
Little is known about his youngling years, although the records of the Acorn Arch Institute show a Mauiby enrolled there, before it was destroyed in one of the occasional civil wars that afflict this plant. It is thought that he escaped the system as a stowaway in a large trade ship, and thus made his way to Lave. There was some question over the money used to pay for tuition and the pilots' exam at the Lave Academy, as it appeared to be traceable to a minor drug baron on Riedquat. However, the aforementioned criminal had been arrested shortly before, and with the Galactic Co-operative's policy on non-interference with planetary government, it was put down to the usual discrepancies that can be found in Anarchy worlds and the matter was dropped.
To brave the dangers of flying safely, a good commander needs what in spacer parlance is known as an "iron-ass". Mauiby's first ship, a Cobra Mark III, was unfortunately nowhere near this standard. Undaunted, and unafraid of GalCop, he set about financing his upgrades by trading narcotics, following the old trader's maxim of "Buy low, sell high". Such endeavours often left him with an Offender or even a Fugitive rating, and so he spent a fair amount of time amongst the con-stores, away from the main stations.
After amassing a number of kills in a short space of time, and being used to undertaking somewhat dubious jobs without question, Mauiby decided to take service with the Houses of the Feudal States, affecting the title "de Fug" to try and avoid the snobbery rife among the pompous lords of the Royal Court. (According to the proprietor of a spacer bar at Leesti, he once admitted over a glass of evil juice that he was having trouble coming up with a name, and settled for "Fug" as an abbreviation of "Fugitive", which was his legal status at the time, and "de" meaning "the" in one of the languages spoken on his own planet.) Credits were easy to come by at the Hunting Lodges, as, confident in his own abilities, he bet highly on himself to win in challenges, and was usually successful.
Once he had acquired a large enough quantity of credits that he could fly where'er he willed without having to bother to do dedicated trading, and simply make sufficient money from scooping the remains of battle, his legal record was somehow wiped clean. (Rumour has it that he maintains a network of contacts in anarchy systems who have access to GalCop records, and are prepared to alter them for a fee.) With this restriction removed, Mauiby has built a reputation as a dependable and deadly assassin/bounty hunter, and can sometimes be seen frequenting Seedy Space Bars searching for the next bargain.
Mauiby stuck with his trusty Cobra Mark III for quite a while, before reckoning that he might as well enjoy the perks of having a large bank balance. He traded it in for a SuperCobra, which enjoys significant improvements over the standard Cobby. With these at his disposal, he began to dedicate his time to improving his Elite rating, actively seeking out potential kills. Eventually, though, his eye was caught by the beauty of a Caduceus Omega, and that was the beginning of a remarkable partnership. There was a brief experiment with a Tiger Mark 1, as Mauiby was invited to participate in a Royal Tournament in a feudal state, and turreted ships were against the rules. However, several sources have informed us that he described it as "the worst ship he had ever flown," due to its lack of character, and his inability to "connect" with it. He returned to the "Taliesin" (the name he gave to his Caduceus) shortly after, and they have not been apart since.
Having travelled through the eight a number of times now, Mauiby has seen and visited many different systems. Whilst he claims he will always have fond memories of the "Old Worlds", where he first started out as a humble Jameson. But when not out undertaking a mission, he usually returns to the 5th galactic chart, which he describes as having "the most beautiful network of pathways one can ever travel on, and has some great planetary systems to boot!"
By and large, these days Mauiby tries to keep his record clean. He see no point in needlessly antagonising GalCop and making his life more difficult than it needs to be. That said, if he happens to catch an offender rating and is attacked by them, he will respond with lethal force. He lives by his own set of morals: why kill a ship when there is no gain in it? Any ship which fires upon him is fair game, as is any with a less than clean rating. Pirates will be terminated for their bounty, and any cargo left in the aftermath will be scooped and sold for bonus profit. And should any unfortunate soul come across him when he is in one of his rages, nobody is safe...

I couldn't agree more. It also helps that the plasma cannons almost make it seem your Caddy is helping you...

Same with me. My rule is if I feel like killing it, I'll attack.

by CaptSolo
Name: Solo
Species: Human Colonial
Home System: Teaatis in chart 1
Rating: Deadly
Record: Clean
Credits: ~850k
Career: Friend of the clean, but bane to all pirates
Ship: Cobra Mk3-XT 'Mox Praemium'
Solo travels the eight with his android, LIZA, which he won in a poker game. Only problem is she often talks too much just like females of many species. To tell the truth, she has saved his hide on quite a few occasions. Solo never leaves a system without making a profit, though it be a few credits. If it's time for an expensive maintenance overhaul he will apply for work on the loading dock even though his heart is back on board his ship in the deep darkness of space. Solo will frequent Seedy Space Bars and has been know to accept some of the more nefarious murder for hire jobs but he doesn't like talking about it... much.

My OOlite personality (and my general gamer tag anywhere) is Assassin #5.
His story shall be told in great detail when I've finished writing Mostly Deadly.
