You might find this quite interesting then! :)

Ah, but I know what to expect from xkcd, so when I first saw that it didn't take quite so long!

I still don't get what "Titriotsrj" is supposed to mean. Is it a bawdy joke about the erstwhile Republic of Yugoslavia?

I don't think I've ever taken a screenshot of it, but on occasion and if I wanted to bring down my frame rate for playtesting I've resorted to spawning 40 or 50 Superhubs in basically the same spot. Now that's a sight to behold, I'm telling you!
Umm....yeah, I can imagine. The Nuit stations have a similar glitch. Every time you launch, dock, launch, there's a new one. Got up to about five at one point. GAH!

I uninstalled the OXP, needless to say. It was getting ridiculous to get out of their range for a witchspace. :P

Slight change of plan...The Xeptatl Society Agents had previously used FerDeLances, but they have now upgraded to Cobra 3.5s.

Upgraded? Surely not. Check out the interstellar military version of the latest (and, er, latest programmed) Fer-de-lance! [EDIT: Now it is a better picture - though admittedly not one in which my ships appear to be winning . .]

Thanks UK_Eliter, but the FerDeLance previously used was actually really quite nice.

The Cobra S9 is a much better choice for the role, and its just soooo sexy :D

Smivs: ah, you used a custom paint job (and, indeed, version of the ship)? And is that a custom cobra ('S9')?

The ferdy is basically the one from my shipset, updated a bit for the next release, and adapted for Xeptatl's Sword.
The Cobra S9 is the 'mercenary' version as featured in Staer9's chopped cobra OXP. It's a hunter or trader NPC and is also buyable. I'm actually flying one while testing a different OXP mission, and it's a beauty! Not just to look at but to fly as well.

Oh yes... the Cobra S-9 'Mercenary' flies very sweetly indeed.

One part of this mission involves a stop at a research station in interstellar space. I thought something a bit different to the normal stations might be good, and came up with this! Model by Staer9.

It's starting to get crowded out there. If the devs don't open up Galaxy 9 soon, they'll have to devise a way to define inter-interstellar space.

That is a very nice station Smivs and Staer9. New and refreshing design. Looking forward to seeing it in game.

Define? You can just have a misjump between 2 systems and have a script plop down whatever stations, ships, and even planets and moons you want. No sun, but a gas giant is probably possible. If that's not remote enough, have the script do multiple misjumps via wormholes. You can possibly end up solidly in the middle of a void with no systems within 3 LY if you plan it right.

I would like a system.addSun() to interstellar space, but it is not currently possible. That would give OXP authors a chance to script lost systems. :)
