Old news maybe, but having just collected this item I noticed that all missiles self destruct when they loose target lock
much smaller energy budget for a quick on/off over ECM as well

However, the ECM is much easier to get repaired than the cloak.

Strictly it is un-repairable, but there are OXP methods, or a little 'hack' that will do the trick.
