If you want more control, direct downloads to the OXZ files can be found here: http://www.oolite.org/oxps/. It's the symbol on the right side of the table. Drop them to the AddOns as before or if you want to open them make a folder ending with .oxp and extract there. OXZ-files are just zipped OXPs.

Shame about the box as Griff's shiniest are there :( .

I'll try that out for Griff's stuff. For the rest, I'm using the Manager.

Well, I'm probably getting closer now. I've completely started from scratch, using the manager as much as possible for the latest and greatest. I was able to download Griff's new stuff in the end (I had to allow cookies from box.com :| ). Anyway, here's the new log. I'm not sure why there's still so much deprecated stuff. I still can't seem to find the mark- I have a feeling he isn't being spawned. I do get the message to hunt him down when I enter the system though.

CommRLock78, could you please test with this debug oxp: https://app.box.com/s/m1hbl1yq230rcwqzg5kqeqxp3xpk8ntb. You need to have RandomHits installed as an oxz and then extract this oxp into AddOns. Now every time a Mark is spawned, you get a notify message in the log and the Mark is tagged with a beacon. You should now be able to find the mark with ASC. If it's still a no-go, then I'll have to find some dedicated time for serious bug hunting.

I had to actually download the zip of the entire directory - individual zips wouldn't download.

Damn, I was really hoping I was wrong!! :P
Anyway, here's the latest log. Everything else seems to be fine, oddly enough; pretty much the same game I had before. I even fine-tuned the base planetinfo.plist to my liking. Thanks spara - good looking bug hunting!!

I think I know what happened. I upgraded everything (Oolite included, if I'm not mistaken) right in the middle of a mission. So, it's not that I'm cursed with oddball bugs, apprently, but more I'm great at borking things :P :P.
What I wound up doing is dropping the contract and getting another - no problems there! Sorry about all the fuss - thanks spara ;).

Glad you got it sorted. Deprecation errors are not that dangerous, I take it they are there for OXPrs to do something about them. The game evolves quite fast and OXPs are dragging behind. Especially the old ones. OXPs from the manager work somewhat ok, but odd individual OXPs from wiki might produce some interesting results.

Just a few quick ones for happier Oolite 1.81 playing:

* Yah errors can be fixed with the version in the manager.
* With high probability Additional planets clashes with Deep Horizon - Systems.
* Market observer from the manager does not work very well with Oolite 1.81. You can find a working one from the thread.
* There's an update (1.2.1 for Oolite 1.81) for Griff's stations in the forum.
* Deepspace hud is probably outdated and you miss new features in 1.80/1.81.

And when you get you HUD updated, you most definitely want to test out some MFDs.

Awesome - thank you for taking the time to look through that bud. I've got some faffing around to do then. I think I'll check out all HUDs - Deepspace HUD has been a favourite for a long time.
