Unfortunately, there is no fixed version. You have to follow CommonSenseOTB's instructions and fix it yourself.

I've edited the Wiki to include the bugfix, but don't know how to change the tag. Can a Wiki-wizard perform some Wiki-magic, please?

Very nice.
The wiki page and oxp list need changing.

I docked with a behemoth in a system, accepted the amnesty mission then used save anywhere. Then when I re-load the save it can't find the behemoth. When it tries to fix it oolite crashes.
Anyway I can fix my savegame? (see next next post on how to fix)
I'm using 1.76 on linux.
Code: Select all
10:08:30.340 [script.javaScript.exception.unexpectedType]: ***** JavaScript exception (Save Anywhere OXP 3.2 3.2): TypeError: system.addShips(role, 1, [-150000000, 0, 0], 0) is null
10:08:30.340 [script.javaScript.exception.unexpectedType]: AddOns/SaveAnywhere3.2.oxp/Scripts/frame_save_anywhere.js, line 489.
10:08:50.288 [Save Anywhere OXP 3.2]: ERROR: tracker has no target, it is undefined

It only crashes if I try to go to equipment or the market in its "limbo" state. If I just launch it stays in an infinit loop of "wait 20 seconds" and launching.

I went and deleted all references to frame_save in my savegame. Now it re-loads.

The amnesty mission from Anarchies OXP is not guaranteed to work with Save Anywhere OXP. I have never tested it, as I don't use Save Anywhere, but personally I would not expect it to work. It's even possible that the amnesty mention makes the implicit assumption that you don't save between accepting and completing it.
Therefore, I would advise against using Save Anywhere in conjunction with this mission.

A graceful recovery mechanism is all we ask.

Okay, for recovering:
Please open your save-file in any text editor (if you're on Windows, Wordpad is fine, Notepad should
not be used).
Below the entry
find any entry that begins with
Code: Select all
<key>mission_anarchies_amnesty…</key>
and delete it together with the line below (which is some value between
<string></string>
-tags). There may be as many as 17 such couplings.
When you're done, save the file. Now every trace of the mission is gone, and you can just take it again, if it pops up again. Just remember: don't save between accepting and finishing the mission, neither at a main station, nor via Save Anywhere OXP.

It is said often: don't use "Save Any Where" with missions. The way it works is forcing a launch from a remote station and than dock with the main station to save. Depending on how the mission is written, this early leaving of a mission station might be seen as abandoning the mission. You can't blame the mission oxp for that fact, as the commander is deliberately leaving the station when he saves.

Thanks Mclane. As a side note I didn't notice any abnormalities to the changes I made on my own.
