hyperradio1.21 is online

Changes:
- Workaround for player died while on F5

This is a special case and needs currently a different handling, so it could be interesting for other oxpers. The devteam is already notified.

hyperradio1.22 is online.

Changes:
- Cabal_Common_Library now required.
- Handling for musicpacks changed to channel lists.

For trunk/nightly users the available channels in the current system can be selected via primed EQ key activation. Playing is still via F7.

Yes and no.-) It's the only way currently, because there is no way to detect if a song is playing or not. Hyperradio uses Sound.playMusic(), because it is streamed.

GroOvy space trance for your radios.
downloadable as WAV, for conversion to OGG or whatever.
I'm not sure how it works in hyperradio. should I make a music pack?

http://soundcloud.com/engine_ears/space-between-spaces

should I do some more?

maybe a bit more down tempo?

as an excuse for any imperfections, I should point out that it's all made up as I go along, mixed live, without a computer!

an early vid here, if anyones interested.

Hehe, cool one, Yodeebe!

Sure, make a pack (maybe with different tempi?) -> [wiki]Hyperradio_Howto_Musicpacks[/wiki]. If you have questions, just ask.

a couple of questions, does a complete music pack have to have 5 songs in it?
Is there any length of track/filesize restrictions?
do I have to get a box.net account or something in order to host them for download?
cheers.

A pack can contain any number of tracks, there's no limit on length and needs only a place to host them.
For my own packs I have choosen 5 songs, because the free box.net account has a download limit of 25 MB.
Other hosters are offering more, but quite a few have other limits (like a timelimit for inactive files).

The only restriction for Hyperradio is to use ogg-vorbis, because this is supported on all platforms.

Damn good trance - got the right speed for a FerDeLance

Might slow it down for those cruisin' the Trade Routes in a Python 8)

Have you tried docking at full speed lately?

I've been unable to download the MusicPacks "Pack ST01" and "ST02" mentioned at http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Hyperradio_Musicpacks , but for each get the message "Folder Not Found". Are they now Missing In Action?

Yep, seems Rustybolts musicpacks are not available anymore. Thanks for the report, Captain Patrick.

Mediafire removes them if files are inactive for a while. The packs are not downloaded very often, because they are compatible to all versions of Hyperradio (from v1.10) and Rustybolt has choosen a hoster with a timelimit. Not much we can do - I'll mark them as unavailable.

Luckily creating your own 'radio station' is easy (see [wiki]Hyperradio_Howto_Musicpacks[/wiki]).

I just checked the licence on his ST02 pack, and it is covered by a CC by-nc-sa/3.0/ licence, so they could be made available on BOX.com with the necessary tributes. For some reason I only have the ST02 pack.
