Incidentally, not that I'm saying this story has been occupying too much of my attention during the last month, but last night I was dreaming I was learning to play the bagpipes and I was late for a society wedding (mine, in fact).

Obsession is like riding rapids. Enjoy the ride and strap yourself in. You may wish for calmer waters but it's these moments of pace that define us as people.
