I've posted an update in your Oofic thread on SSC, Drew.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

My "oolite Christmas surprise" has arrived too! It promises to be quite the evening.

I should be in London from Lunchtime onwards (after my hospital physio appointment) - I've also promised Selezen I'd catch a tube over to St Pancras to photo the LEGO Christmas tree...

I arrive at noon on the 15th.
So I'm in London all day Friday. (Have a few things to cover, but should get most of that out of the way on the 15th).
Do you have specific plans for the afternoon, or may I join you if you meet up early.

I have no specific plans - I'll PM you my mobile number on the off chance we can rendezvous early. 8)

If you could share those (and also if anyone has similar photo's of the "real" Norwegian-donated tree too) with me that would be most useful. I have a French colleague who asked me to get a photo of the latter, and I think it would be fun to sneak the Lego one in too...

Into the final straight now. Last corrections going in and only 4 days 'til lift off. No signs of the launch being scrubbed and weather looking good-ish. (technical term).

The final Oolite Saga episode will be with you soon...

Cheers,

Drew.

Quirium? "Tanks topped off!"
Torpedoes? "Tubes loaded!"
Energy? "Fully charged!"
Lasers? "Cold and standing by."
Axe? "Sharp!"
Then what are we waiting for? Set course. "Where to, Capt'n?" To glory, infinity, and beyond.

It's a rough ride for Derik, Coyote and Rebecca. Sure you're up for it, Mr. Newt? :)

Ask this question to several thousand pirates. Ask it to Gouglas vor Cheem. Ask it to the slaver gang Harbingers of Doom.

Oh, right. They're all dead by Roh'i rage. So bring it on.

Will be interesting to see what you think of my interpretation of Roh'i rage... :D

All proofreader feedback incorporated. I will do a final sanity check in the next two days, but 'Finis' is therefore 'Finished' as of now.

See, I said I'd get it done by Christmas 2011 - who didn't believe me?

-=-=-=-=-=

Not to spoil the story, but more a sort of 'trailer'... my favourite bits from 'Finis'...

1. Why you don't want to be a fat green frog in the Aesbion System, or a rodent.
2. Derik bites off more than he can chew...
3. Udian, that's just mean...
4. Rebecca finds her past comes back to haunt her...
5. Derik and Coyote have a serious falling out...
6. Kiri Mereso and the hunky Navy Marine.
7. Daddyhoggy maintains grammatical accuracy at all times.
8. Udian, what big manipulators you have!
9. Derik and diplomacy, with chain-guns, naturally.
10. Trouble with trumbles...
11. Is that an oversized Sombrero, or are you just pleased to see me?
12. Who's that girl?

Cheers,

Drew.
