Does anybody have any idea which OXP might be generating this massive convoy of ships?
It's Nuit stations, or at least that's how it looks to me.
Gal 4, Jump from Laanat -> Xetiis (TL 12)
With Nuit stations, heap o' traders.
Without Nuit stations, normal.
Replace Nuit and the glitch returns.

This problem does not exist with your version! It is only with the most recent version (2.3). And the armada only appeared with me at the witchpoint beacon and then left en masse.
The idea of an armada appearing is enthralling - but when it only ever happens to be there at the instant of arrival and at no other times, it tends to wreck the immersion.
I rather think that it could make for an interesting seperate OXP - especially if you had armadas of juntas or commies materialising out of the blue! Montana05 did something along these lines (Star Wars oxps), but never properly published it.

I had occasionally seen the mass of ships at the wp, but was never able to identify the culprit. I’ll have a look at the code to see where it might have all gone wrong.

Interesting effect, regular jump spawns a lone trader, 'nuit oxp' jump spawns a (big) trader with 'escorts'...

Try a high TL Corporate - I was seeing 60-80 ships at a time!

with trunk and nuit the only xp, i encounter just on of those big traders, perhaps with others/more oxp's the influence this effect has is grander...

I've just uploaded a new version of Nuit Station (v2.4) which should (hopefully) correct the issue with massed ships at the witchpoint.

For some reason the Nuit is a lot harder to dock into for me without bumping into something than any other non-rotating station. I noticed earlier in the thread someone else was having a similar problem; I wonder if the visible shape of the station doesn't quite match its collision box.

This is Nuit Mk1 or Nuit Mk2?
Nuit Mk1 will be replaced by Mk2 when the external docking for liners at Mk2 is sorted out.
Mk1 (docking problems)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mk2 (such problems not yet identified)

Were you docking through the standard docking bay, or at one of the docking arms?
