Me too, I listened too it when I was growing up, I guess that's why I like "Rumer" so much - the similarities are quite haunting at times.

I really like the Carpenters tribute album. Featuring Sonic Youth, Shonen Knife and many others. And this did lead to me buying a best of of the originals (for my girlfriend, but she told me I could keep it
