If he's looking to turn a penny he probably figured it out and went away.

Currently playing this on the laptop. Where I didn't install so many OXP's. The game runs well on that.

Back on my PC, I launch the game again, and it's playing more smoothly. I even reinstall the Firefly (Serenity) OXZ and it's playing better than it was last week. although, I haven't touched or gone near the Expansion Pack Manager. SO, it might have bn issue with my computer that corrected itself somehow.
BTW, I still suppose there's a lot of broken OXP/Zs inn my game, but I will play it anyway, See what happens.
I got blown to bits again...

Are you using the very latest pre-release of the game from github? The memory available to scripts has been increased 8-fold in that latest build and this could maybe explain the improved smoothness.

Yes, I am. As that's the only one that allows the OXP/Z list to be loaded. I haven't unistalled or resintalled either. It's the same game, I was playing earlier.
BTW< I crashed to the desktop again, when, I tried to use Witchspace, maybe it's still needs a lot of work.
I remove the expansion that makes the Witchspace look fancy along with some other bits n bobs and then reinstall it again.

What does the BSG Expansion need to install with it when you install it?

Just to be sure, can you please provide me with the filename of the installer you downloaded from github used to install the game you are currently running?
As for BGS, it depends on the Library OXP but I can guarantee that it is not the reason for your crash. I use it in multiple installations of the game across different systems and had never had it crash on me once.

If it crashes again, I would be interested to take a look at the Latest.log immediately after the crash.

I just crashed into a Con-Store station.... Game was playing okay. Except that, I tried Witch-Spacing to a restricted system and was stuck in a loop where my ship just kept re-orientating. Problem corrected itself, When I altered the Course on the map screen to go some other place that wasn't restricted. Didn't know what was happening at first. Thought it might have been that my ship entered low orbit when the altitude above the nearby world dropped down to less than ten, but that subsided as well once, as I put some distance between that world and the ship...

I never got the Hyperwave Radio to work on my AppleMac (but didn't try very hard... the "music" was all too modern for my tastes). I did find the
Orchestral demo for Library.oxp rather more effective - and more to my liking.
