@timer: We need to think about some backup strategy.
I also thought about this - so far the simplest thing has come to mind: Cron-script copy archives to a Google drive mounted via WebDav?
By the way... can Google WebDav?...
Google Drive is one implementation of WebDAV for sure. Your suggestion should work.
Would a weekly backup suffice? One file is less than 100 MB, so we could easily keep a couple of weeks.

Funny. I just got to browsing the styles myself and came up with the exact same hit.
Currently we are running prosilver, thus the prosilver_dark should satisfy our need for a dark theme while being quite recognizable for our users.
I am all for it.
That theme has been validated for 3.3.11 and 3.2.8. We are inbetween on 3.3.3.
yeah, I looked through them all too, I couldn’t find anything else decent and suitable ))
Tomorrow I'll probably try to update to 3.3.11
Fine for me.
But let's develop the backup scripts first, both for the forum and the database.
BTW, I checked what I would need to do to tweak on the style. It requires direct file access to our PhpBB's installation. I think you still wanted to share that information.

FYI: I have an automated process running now across the wiki, updating all BB links to the new site. Might take a while though!

Well, the process has finished. There might be a couple of instances I didn’t find, but certainly the majority of links should now be updated. We can probably do any others by hand now.

Great! THANKS!
In the near future I will try to run a pearl script on the forum server that will go through all the entries in the table with posts and replace there with a regular expression links to the new forum.
But this will probably happen after the first successful backup of the system,
just like the update to 3.3.11 - Hiran won’t let me break everything until he sees the new backups )))

Folks!
Given the events that took place, in fact the public posting of database dumps,
and a message from Giles
/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=21596.
I suggest that we make a strong-willed decision to enable this setting:
Force password change
Require user to change their password after a set number of days.
Setting this value to 0 disables this behaviour.
And set this value to 15 days, for example, and than (after 14 days) - change to 180 days (for example).
If I understand correctly, this will force everyone who did not change their password after the start of the new forum to change their passwords.
This is for our own good!
What do u think about this?

Having read Giles message and reset my password yesterday it would personally be a minor annoyance.
However, if as a https site (or some other reason) the change is a useful one then OK, good idea.
As for setting the second change to every 180 days (or similar), if we're going to wait that long then can't it be at user discretion and therefore shouldn't it return to 0?

Security is always a search compromise between security and user convenience...
whatever the community decides, we will do it )
PS you might want to fix the image links in your signature - just remove
https://bb.oolite.space at the beginning of the links - make them start with just /images - if you don't specify a host, the links are treated relative to the current server.

True... I think.

Thanks, I was just about to mess around with that.

PS you might want to fix the image links in your signature -
It's the wiki symbol not currently displaying (at least not in my sig.)
So, for example, using the 'wiki' button on the forum I could create
Demand Driven Economy which should display hyperlinked text preceded by the wiki image. Alas, it currently does not.

UPD sorry! I just now realized what you mean! Now I’ll look for where on the server I can fix this!
