Shocking news! I've lost three pledgers today - one of whom was a £47 pledge! That's not a good trend at this stage in the campaign.

Panic is setting in now - I need to do something to gather pledgers, but the restrictions of the writer's pack are stopping me from offering what people want!

Some people tend to pull their pledges when a project has reached its goal, the idea being "it's going to get made, my money is not needed anymore."

I see that no one's taken the name-dropper pledge level. If you discount that and others like it (making sure that it is not then included in the new higher rewards if you do that), some might go for them.

AND you live close enough to possibly be part of the official developer's playtesting group if you're so inclined...I've been trying to pull my old roleplaying group back together to see if they're interested in "getting the band back together"...

Sound like a good idea to me. Afterall what better way to learn the game than to playtest with the actual developer.

Thanks drew. I'm fine now. It seems to have been the lull before the storm, since yesterday saw a whopping £1,200 ish in new pledges and upgrades!

Selezen I just made my pledge as promised....The good news being that with this pledge you reached the 3rd target (Research professional counter production).

Awesome, Chris, thanks! Once again it's an Ooliteer that pushes past a goalpost.

I've been blown away in the last 24 hours by the huge leap in pledges. I knew that Kickstarters usually get a boost towards the end but I didn't expect to get to this level. It's awesome, and to be honest I still hold a flag up for the fact that if it wasn't for Oolite and its community none of this would be happening.

For what it's worth I think there will be a special mention for Oolite and the BBS in the rulebook - outside any pledge reward or option.
