Duggan thanks for spotting this and reporting it.
As you guessed this has no detrimental effect on the actual OXP (The script simply adda a OXP specific messages that ships will send you when they are destroyed. Without this script the standard Oolite messages will be used instead).
In any event I am looking in to this now and will update the OXP and make the new version available for download shortly.
