Perhaps we need another poll

If you've visited Oresrati:-
1) I managed to leave again.
2) I've been stuck there for less than a year.
3) I've been stuck there for less than 5 years.
4) I was stuck there so long I died of old age.
5) I was born there, you insensitive clod.

Unfortunately the pole does not give us option to tick multiple options. So I ticked the first method I used to reach to Oresrati(Thanks to Commander McLane) by misjumps :D. Then I reached there with my OXP 1WT2Orestrati, and finaly used Smivs GalDrivePod.

But could not find a another way yet. One posibility can be to hack saved file and you are there when you load the save file. :D

"Options per user: This is the number of options each user may select when voting."

Or is it impossible to change this once the poll has gone active?

I managed to change the whole thing so I could change it again if you like. Not sure just changing the number of options would reset the figures though.
What do you think? Any further sugestions, or shall we have a poll to work out what should be on the poll? :wink:

Can there be a mission OXP out of the pole? :?:

I've been hacking this OXP, but I can't figure out how to make the equipment only for sale in Galaxy 8. :?
Apparently, this doesn't work:
conditions =
(
// system.ID = 9;
"galaxyNumber" = 7;
);

Note: galaxyNumber is 1 less than Galaxy Map number, since it starts counting at 0.
Ideally, I'd want it available only in/near edge systems. :(

Try ( "galaxy_number equal 7" ). Conditions use the legacy script system.

And the second condition would be planet_number equal 162 for Oresrati.

For more information about the available queries for legacy scripting consult the [wiki]Methods[/wiki] page.

Yes, sorry...I mean hacking OneWaytickettoOresrati OXP.
I found a way to considerably reduce the code in that yet still get the same effects.
I even have a version that already works from 2 different starting systems, with very little extra code. (hint: This also means I may have found yet another method/route to Oresrati 8) )
These should be applicable for Link7 OXP, Wormhole Drones OXP, and similar (mis?)jump chain tricks. I'm still working on it...but hope to have something ready in a day or 2.

Putting the equipment available only in Galaxy 8 seems sensible.
Making it cost 1000 credits isn't unreasonable -- anyone in Galaxy 8 should certainly afford that.

Doubtful I'd be buying a 1-way ticket 2 Oresrati...if I'm already AT Oresrati. :lol:
...But that at least clues me in how to set it to other system IDs. 8)

I think it might be an Idea to set the TL = 99 and change the TL to an apropriate one according to the conditions in JS.

I don't know if that (TL changing via JS) can be done...if it is, I don't know how. :?
