...and now we only need to add mac nightly buids. Ah, if only I had the expertise! :)
xcodebuild, tar -z, curl or rsync, launchd or cron. You are now an expert. Have fun. ;-)

In rev 2666 missile icons are drawn using a new, still buggy method. Diziet Sma, if you're not doing that already, you might want to compile your builds setting the OLD_ICONS macro in HeadUpDisplay.m to 1 (it will revert to the old drawing code).

Cheers,

Kaks.

Thanks for the heads-up.. but I just build 'em, factory installed bugs and all... I don't fiddle with the code.. I leave that to those with intellects vastly superior to my own.. (all you devs..) besides.. how are the testers who use my builds supposed to help fix bugs if I disable the bugs before they get their grubby little hands on 'em?

Given that Getafix is providing automated nightly builds now for both Windows and Linux, and that nightly Mac builds are now available as well, it doesn't really make sense that I produce one or two Windows builds a week on my own website. Therefore I am discontinuing my trunk builds.

The description and links on page one of this thread have been modified accordingly.

My alternate downloads site will now focus primarily on providing current test releases for the various platforms. Instead of providing trunk builds for Windows, I have linked to the nightly builds for Mac, Linux and Windows.

My thanks to everyone who has patronised my dev builds page in the time it was up. I remain very happy that it was my modified build script that re-started the process of providing nightly builds, and that my script lives on in generating the nightly Windows builds. :D

Thanks for the trunk builds Diziet, they've been very useful for me.

You're very welcome, El Viejo. At least with the nightly builds, you can get the latest whenever you want, instead of relying on my rather erratic build schedule..

Anyhow, keep a copy in a safe place...
I haven't manage to find some time to backup my server yet...
and in case of loss we will all have a "great time" trying to bring this service back to life!

yep.. I do tend to keep some crazy hours at weekends.. especially when I get 'hooked' on whatever I'm doing.. the time just flies. I blame the years I spent as a night-shift taxi driver.. to me, getting up before midday isn't civilised.

Yup.. all safe'n'sound here.. I'll probably still build for my own use.. it saves bandwidth, and I can see what changes have been made, features added, etc.. I always find it interesting how often seemingly minor discussions about some idea are quietly introduced into the code, with nary a word being mentioned in that thread that it was actually implemented. Makes me look forward to 1.74 coming out.. there's some good stuff coming.. 8)
