Download here, use FileFactory Basic to download. And remember... it'll be gone in a few days.
You saving these, PA?
Downloading as we speak.
Zadies was already done. So may I propose Inonri or Qurave (enroute L4) for your now Zadies- texture?
Qurave in the Teraed Region, please!

So... what planets still need doing in Hi Def? Names (I can use the Galaxy 1 Planet List and the game's map function to create newer versions).

Still needed to complete the Lave - Tianve route are:
Velete
Anerbe
Teanribi
Also nice are some other planets in the Teraed Sector and Pulsar Worlds. Also other planets are welcome. Just mention where I have to put it.
People that posted textures here can say which planet they want it on and then I also include that. I have
a script to quickly place planets
After that It's not ready. I then need short descriptions for each planet for the F7 screen
You may submit them here or by PM (=better)
@cmndr Cheyd: Can you resend your latest Anarlaqu texture? I throw out mine and include yours
After Famous planets v2 anyone may use the script included in that package to make further add ons for galaxy 1.
Iron Stars, Tortuga Expanse
Or how about a change everything community( for a certain area) oxp which includes:
- Altered planets
- Altered stations
- Missions
- ships
Someone suggested that earlier. But after FP then.

@PAGroove - He's getting the mountains by using the "Map Color" export option in Lunarcell. Unfortunately, it has a side effect... since it's artificially baking in a bumpmap (using a specific light angle and axis) it doesn't look proper when the star is at say... 90ยบ off-axis from what the map colors display. Still... Until we get bump mapping for planets, it might be a good "substitute".

Tweaked Anarlaqu texture
I guess anyone else that wants it is free to it as well.... Fair warning... It's 8K x 4K and is ~34 MB (and yes, I put it through PNGCrush).

I can't download it. My system claims it was "1024*512" and then tells me I may not download it due to an "interface issue".
Never had that one with photobucket before. So how do I download it?

I'm trying out Lunar cell now. It's not free but 30 days try version.
Nice but not a real solution unless it;s cheap.
Oolite should have a fast Lunarcell creating engine under the hood
