In contrast to my previous shot, this tranquil scene is virtually on my doorstep, which as you all can see, there is no trace of snow.

well, i still got snow here, and i slipped on some ice, luckly it was 7:30 in the morning, so no one saw. and its still snowing here.

Forecasters are predicting another winter storm tomorrow afternoon, starting in the West country and South Wales, and growing in an easterly/north-easterly direction to include the Thames Valley, London, the northern home counties, the east Midlands and the top of East Anglia.

But don't worry everyone, because the ships carrying the salt are due to arrive on Wednesday.... :roll:

Sad... here we have a huge pile of salt year-round in the DPW parking lot.
