Late to the party as usual. Rarely rise before noon unless it is a Still Awake from the night before.
Thank You timer for getting the Board back up and running with even more functionality then it had before.
Did notice that the Remember Me box on the Login Screen had to be checked before a reply could be posted. Not a problem, just a difference from the old Board. Completely livable with and not something to worry about.

You know what else is needed? A message to Giles to update his page on aegidian.org (you know, the one with his last messages) to point to this location. Most people will still be hitting aegidian.org for a while and they should be getting the notification as soon as they get there.

this is from here:
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/style/prosilver_dark

Not bad overall. Of course, the blue-on-dark-blue and black-on-dark-blue will have to be adjusted to something that is actually readable.
On other news, I've already contacted Giles. Standing by for response.

?
Why would anybody wish to "fry air"? Does it achieve anything? Are you any the better for it?
Perplexed.

I always found the
Limit Theory colours to be easy to read and easy on the eye, and I think it's php too.

Yes, bravo timer!
Also well done everyone who's contributed and...
Show's how vital all of the work done on the wiki (esp. in recent years) is. Not just in and of itself but also as a record of the 'product' of all of the ruminations processed through the boards. Hats off to the wiki-wizards too
Sincere appreciation to all.

Already happened. I was asking not for a better message, but offering help to configure redirects. That would allow old links to still resolve while we migrate them all.
What I see meanwhile is that running my browser onto the old URL will show the 'Well, f*ck' message and then come to this forum's landing page.
This is not the redirect I was talking about. It only works for users going to the old forum main page after flashing the bad text but will fail miserably for all links to forum posts.
@aegidian could we improve on that please?

Funny. I just got to browsing the styles myself and came up with the exact same hit.
Currently we are running prosilver, thus the prosilver_dark should satisfy our need for a dark theme while being quite recognizable for our users.
I am all for it.
That theme has been validated for 3.3.11 and 3.2.8. We are inbetween on 3.3.3.

@timer: We need to think about some backup strategy.

yeah, I looked through them all too, I couldn’t find anything else decent and suitable ))
Tomorrow I'll probably try to update to 3.3.11

I also thought about this - so far the simplest thing has come to mind: Cron-script copy archives to a Google drive mounted via WebDav?
By the way... can Google WebDav?...
